Christine

Christine Murtagh - Led the team two years ago with the highly successful, rainforest project (special merit winner). Loves teaching contemporary science topics, and sees the potential for developing good teaching models with other secondary schools. Opportunity to gain outreach experience to support science specialist status.

 


Chris-mannChris Mann - Dynamic, committed senior teacher with fantastic organisational skills. Has led whole school improvement on teaching and learning, will act as mentor and ensure project stays on track. PSRE skills and knowledge on evolution will enhance the project.


Kay

Kay McNee - Young, enthusiastic teacher. Passionate about media studies, keen to improve professional performance. The opportunity to train and use new technologies in the project will enable her to develop creative skills in media for the benefit of her future students.

 

 

  

WendyWendy Sheen - Experienced, resourceful, creative, senior science technician. Ensured that the materials and resources produced for the rain forest project were ready at every stage.

 

 

 

 

AnnaAnna Shepherd - Has a degree in textile and design, studied in Italy, London and New York. Has curated exhibitions for International / National artist in Liverpool. Will bring her own unique style and approach to the art exhibition

 

 

 

PatsyPatsy Lofthouse - Head of Science, has ensured science is  always top of the agenda (last two years has overseen the girls Robocup team reach international success).  Will ensure science is at the heart of the project and plans to expand project to whole school as well as local primary schools.
