More! More! More!
The Science inspector for Wirral, Phil Wakefield and Science Consultancy Teacher Tracey Reed were so impressed with the project, that they secured funding to extend the project to 5 more schools. Twenty more gifted and talented students including 8 year 9 and 12 year 10 attended Phil’s facial reconstruction workshop. Phil modified and improved his original workshop, and the skulls of Australopithecus and Homo erectus that the students sculptured from scratch were incredibly realistic. They then went on to produce films at the CLC and attend the debating session at Prenton High. The feedback we received from staff and students was just as positive as the first cohort. Again by sharing debating skills with the teachers in these schools, potentially the project could reach all students in all these schools.
