Film Production

Students worked with staff from the CLC Learning Lighthouse, Patsi and April, along with Miss McNee and Ms Murtagh to produce short films on the theme of Darwin and Evolution.

Students carried out their own research and wrote their own scripts. They then went on to produce their own storyboard and filmed appropriate material. This was followed by a day at the CLC to actually edit and produce their short films. They used sound booths and blue screen technology to do voice-overs and put themselves in the picture. Park High students were able to produce a shot of themselves in Darwin’s study! A range of films from interviews with teachers to recreating the Historical contexts of the debate was produced.
