Diary Entry - September

 

It’s been a busy time!

Our year 12 pupils have been very active researching and thinking hard, trying to crack the modulated laser pen. But we think we have got something now! A group of pupils designed a circuit diagram that looks promising. The core of the device was found through research and good ideas, but there are many still sceptical about this circuit! Why, you might say. Well it is simple, incredibly simple, and cheap, incredibly cheap. Just think that if you were to buy a similar device from a provider, it would cost you around £250. So, it’s not surprising some of the pupils (and I have to admit, some of the teachers also) think it’ll never work.

Well, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. We’ve ordered the equipment we need and we’ll get started as soon as it arrives… can’t wait. I think it might work, I mean it better do, or this will probably our first and last diary post!
