Diary Entry - September

The project is gathering pace and we expect to take delivery of the prototype wind tunnel body any day now. Initial development of the child friendly interface for the instrumentation is almost completed.

There have been changes to the team as Phillippa Millar has just started her maternity leave to care for her adopted baby daughter. There are two new team members.

Ken England, a very experienced engineer with a strong interest in technologies for sustainable living. He  has his own wind tunnel at the bottom of the Garden. Ken has developed a turbine for intended for urban use.

Dr.Thahira Rhaman, a parent governor at the school, also joins the team. She has strong interest in projects that enrich children’s learning and experiences of science.

The next two weeks should see the Wind tunnel operational and the instrumentation installed.
