Diary Entry - January

 

The aim of our project is to enthuse pupils at Bramhall High School to continue to study chemistry beyond GCSE.

To do this we are holding “fun and exciting” chemistry sessions alongside a chemistry trip and a visit to univerisity or industry for the pupils.

Two weeks of christmas holidays followed by unplanned snow days since the last entry have meant that this month has mainly involved planning for the next session on the 3rd February.

Pupil will have an enlightening talk about how chemistry is used in the solar panel industry – the talk will last an hour and involve interactive elements.

Meanwhile the next practical session date for the pupils has been set for Tuesday 2nd March and a trip to the Catalyst Chemistry Museum is planned for June.
