Team details

Catherine Lawler – attended “Success in Teaching 11-16 Chemistry” in Feb and May 2009 developing new practical ideas. Given a 1-hour INSET session to teachers in the science department based on original action plan. Good enthusiasm to carry out project.

 

Sandra Humphries – Head of Chemistry – Very good organisational skills; she is supportive of this project. Previous links to Manchester University.

 

Philip Griffith – Chemistry teacher, enthusiastic and organised. He runs a very successful science club.

 

Candice Wilson – enthusiastic chemistry teacher, very creative and full of new ideas.

 

Gill Rule – Assistant Head in charge of Science College. Very supportive of the project and able to keep the senior leaders informed of the latest developments. She has many links to sixth form colleges.
