Overview

The team will work with Year 6 pupils to create “Science Envoys” who will work with younger pupils to promote creative science at the school. The school have run a very successful British Science Association CREST Star Investigators' Scheme for a number of years and this project will help to build on that experience giving pupils the chance to share their experiences and understanding.

The Science Envoys will be involved in a number of creative projects including planning science projects for Year 4 and 5 pupils and producing a monthly magazine.

Judges’ comments

This is an Innovative idea with children learning through articulating their knowledge. It builds on the success of the school’s participation in the CREST Awards. It is an easily sustainable project that extends the curriculum.
