Diary Entry - March

After experiencing delivery delays we are at last ready to undertake our rocket launch next Thursday morning. The launch off will involve our now established STEMM and SALT teams who will be marshalling the whole event under the watchful eye of Mike Hales and Mr Scourfield. They won’t miss out as they are to take part in their own launch off involving a payload no less to further complicate matters.

Our teams have been acting as great amabassadors during the month helping year 3 and 4 pupils understanding forces and friction and the teachers have commented on how professional they are in their distinctive tops.

The rocket launch closes the physics theme of this term and we move on to the final chapter which will involve habitats and our thoughts move on to planning an orienteering trail with a difference. Such is the diversity of the STEMM project and the Rolls-Royce Science Prize experience!
