Diary Entry - February

February marked the mid-point of our project and time was spent evaluating the project thus far and planning for the second phase.  We are pleased with the progress and the team are reenergized!

Planning time has been devoted to the development of the outdoor ‘Sensory Exploration Area’. We have really had to put our heads together to carefully consider how to turn our vision into a reality.

ICT equipment, including digi blue cameras, digital cameras, sound button boards and digital microscopes, have now been ordered. These resources will be utilized in class to help children to access and engage in investigations. Children will be able to use a lot of this equipment to record what they have learnt in a more interactive format which removes the barrier of written recording from the investigations.
