Mulberry School for Girls

The team at Mulberry were awarded the runners-up prize of £10,000 in 2007 for a project that explored the life of the universe by bringing science and art together.

Pupils investigated scientific theory and religious beliefs as they put together a timeline to bring science to the heart of the school. Artist helped pupils interpret and explain scientific concepts as related to the study of the universe in interactive displays.

Head Teacher, Vanessa Ogden, said, "The project has been a great success. The team has gained an awful lot of professional development and really brought science to life in the classroom."
